Connect through your warehouse
DataCharted Sync writes supported GoHighLevel datasets into BigQuery. Google’s BigQuery connector for its reporting tool can read tables, views, and custom SQL queries, giving your dashboard a direct connection to prepared warehouse data. See Google’s connector guide for the current setup steps.
The flow: GoHighLevel → DataCharted Sync → your BigQuery reporting models → Looker Studio.
Define the numbers once
Prepare views or tables for the questions you need to answer: contacts created by location, current pipeline value, appointment outcomes, or inbound call activity. Normalize status names and timezones before designing charts.
Keep joins and business definitions in the reporting layer where possible. That makes them easier to review and reuse when another client needs a dashboard. Check source coverage before designing a metric; for example, current opportunity snapshots do not automatically provide historical stage movement.
Choose credentials and query scope carefully
Google supports different credential modes for the BigQuery connector. The selected mode affects whose permissions are used to read data and run query jobs. Verify that each client can only see the intended records; a visible location filter alone is not an access control.
Dashboard activity can incur BigQuery query charges. Use sensible date ranges and curated reporting tables, and review query usage after publishing a report. For a starting checklist, read our BigQuery cost guide.
Connector first, dashboard by agreement
The sync subscription provides the source-data connection, schedules, run history, and alerts. A finished dashboard, custom branding, KPI model, or advertising-data connection is separate work. Your team can build it, or we can agree a managed reporting scope.
